Tells the Story of Your Building’s Assets
At Better Building Data© (BBD), we believe there is a better approach to data collection and asset management. Our customers inspired us to develop platforms that gather, visualize, track, and manage a building’s essential data – saving you time and money.
Our tools include 3D laser scanning, reality capture imaging, rendering to 3D and 2D plans, smart tags, conditional monitoring beacons, and a robust web-based asset management platform to help you centralize, visualize, and streamline your building’s story.
Together, we can build a better way forward. Contact us to learn how we can help tell the story of your building.

Sara discovered that historical records of equipment and systems were not very accurate or reliable. Most equipment records were in a printed format with service records in both printed and emailed versions, making it difficult to know what was current and what was not.
To be successful at any level of planning around capital improvements and maintenance, she would need to validate her records and create an environment in which everyone who managed the equipment would be able to have common access. On a corporate level there were reporting tools in place but nothing that could be used for day to day operations by her team.
